Occupational Health Nurse

Jo Kidd what is your role at TriEx?
I am an occupational health nurse sometimes known as an occupational health practitioner.  I am a Registered Nurse and have completed a post grad Diploma in Occupational Health Practice.  My role is to respond to the health & safety needs of our clients both as an individual and as part of the TriEx team.

What does it mean that you DO and what do you love the most about that?
I enjoy being part of a team that can assist companies to put systems in place to improve both the wellbeing of employees and the profitability of the company.   My main focus is health assessments and health monitoring, task analysis, ergonomic audits and in the flu season I am one of the main practitioners.  I enjoy meeting people and putting them at ease and enjoy seeing the change I can make in the health and wellbeing of people.

In addition to work how do you like to invest your time?
I am happily married to Geoff and we have five grown up children and two new grandchildren. We have a caravan and enjoy spending as much time as we can out and about in that.  We both enjoy fishing and the outdoors.  Hopefully we will be spending more time doing these activities with our grandies!
